The “OCCUPATION and HEALTH” Russian National Congress with international participation is a regular national forum of physicians and specialists in the aspects of preserving the worker`s health. It is attended by leading experts from Russia and many countries in the field of occupational hygiene and diseases, labor protection and industrial ecology, hygienists of all profiles, practicing physicians of related specialties, medical and social expertise and rehabilitation specialists, public health and social services, managers enterprises, trade unionists, politicians, businessmen and public figures.
The event has been held for a quarter of a century once every two years in various Federal Districts of Russia: Siberia, Far East and Volga region, North-West and Central regions of Russia – Moscow (2013), Irkutsk-Novosibirsk (2015), St. Petersburg (2017), Samara (2019), Vladivostok (2021), Nizhny Novgorod (2023) and now in Krasnoyarsk, a biggest Siberian city on Yenisei-river.
The Congress always holds an International Symposium, which is provided with either simultaneous or consecutive translation for the participation of foreign guests. The Congress is attended not only by representatives of WHO, ILO, IARC, ICOH and other intergovernmental organizations, but also hold breakout sessions as part of its Program: WHO and ILO retreat sessions, IARC Scientific Conference on industrial carcinogenesis, 23rd annual expert group meeting on the occupational health and safety of the Baltic region (2017). In different years, the Congress participants included specialists not only from Russian regions, but also specialists from the USA, Japan, Australia, Thailand, China, Korea, France, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Egypt, Iran and many other countries. Difficulties with the participation of foreign specialists began with the Covid pandemic and later with the sanctions regime of Russia. Therefore, in the last 5 years, the number of participants from abroad has decreased. But we are always glad to welcome any guests.
This year the Congress is held in person only; there will be no online connections for presentations or listening to reports.
The order and requirements for publication submission. The materials will be published in the electronic collection of works, with the assignment of ISBN and DOI, registered in the RusSCI. Submission requirements: The total volume of one publication should not exceed 10000-15000 characters (with spaces).
The publication includes the following sections, written in English only: Title of the paper, surname and initials of each author, affiliation, postal address, summary, keywords, list of references not more than 3 sources, corresponding author (surname and initials), email address.
The main text includes (if possible) the following sections: introduction (goal), research methods and results, conclusion. It is permissible to place up to 2 tables (graphs or figures) in a publication,
which please include in the text of the publication and attach as a separate file (pictures in jpg or tif format with a resolution of at least 300×300 dpi). All papers are peer-reviewed, the Editorial Board of the Congress has the right to refuse the publication.
